Chemical and refinery industry
Two-way radios are used in the daily production process and at turnarounds in the chemical industry. Usually radios are explosion proof. Flash has large stocks of ATEX radios that can be rented for a short or longer period of time. You can always obtain an overview of the number of radios that are located at each plant.

Shell Nederland Pernis refinery
The Shell refinery is the first in the Benelux to implement TETRA for its mission-critical radio communication. At the end of 2010, Flash installed a Multisite DAMM Tetraflex System, which is utilised by around 600 employees by means of Motorola MTP850Ex ATEX two-way radios. Shell also makes extensive use of the short-term rental solutions provided by Flash during shutdowns and turnarounds.

SABIC
SABIC's Site Services Turnaround engineers rented the Mobile TETRA Unit of Flash during the turnarounds this year. Over 500 Motorola MTP850 ATEX radios were used for communication.
