Two-way radios are used in the daily production process and at turnarounds in the chemical industry. Usually radios are explosion proof.     Shell Nederland Raffinaderij Pernis The Shell refinery is the first in the Benelux to implement TETRA for its mission-critical radio communication. At the end of 2010, Flash installed a Multisite DAMM Tetraflex System, which is utilised by around 600 employees by means of Motorola MTP850Ex ATEX two-way radios. Shell also makes extensive use of the short-term rental solutions provided by Flash during shutdowns and turnarounds. Read more
