Radio users who work for local and national authorities often have to ensure the citizens are safe. They are the policemen on the streets and the prison employees but also the security officials and emergency response teams of the ministries. Flash ensures that that communication resources always work at their best through preventive maintenance. Should a radio be faulty, replacement equipment can immediately be supplied.
Radios are also deployed in relation to disasters and must, therefore, be immediately available. The authorities do not appeal in vain to Flash due to our extensive rental facilities.

Two large hospitals with together over eight hundred beds look at patients and employees as parts of the circle of care. Flash realises for a long time the radiocommunication for both hospitals.
Hospital employees who have to communicate directly to each other are the people of bed transport, security, technical service and the emergency response team. On each location one can reach each other via repeaters which garantee a good signal quality. Via private lines the repeaters efficiently make use of the provided frequencies. Also the wish was to reach employees on the other location. This option is available by opening a line connection on each two-way radio.
The emergency button on each two-way radio can be activated when lone-workers are in dangerous situations. The central unit and other employees can give in this way specific assistence. After a calamity the hospitals use voice-logging to hear what exactly happened. On the Motorola GP360 display radios fire warnings are also shown.
Maxima Medisch Centrum has a Standard Plus service contract; once a year preventative maintenance is given on the radiocommunication system and when there are problems with the radios replacement equipment is provided.

Prisons at the Amsterdam area
Flash supplies in the Netherlands to more than 30 prisons and detentioncentres two-way radios and systems.
Striking example is the tailor made solution for PI Over-Amstel. A prison facility consisting of five high rise towers, where the communication is directed by means of a Diversity system. This system set-up guarantees an optimal mobile radio communication, which of course is to the benefit and the safety of guards and related personal involved. An agreement for preventive and corrective on-site maintenance contributes to a problem free ownership.

Enschede Municipality
The municipality of Enschede has an average of six radios on standby at seven office locations for emergency response provision. They decided to use the Motorola CP040. This is a radio without frills. And this is important for emergency response teams, because the radios are not used every day, so their use may not be too complicated.
The radio uses frequencies for which authorisation must be requested, so there is little likelihood of colleagues using the same frequencies. The channels are then kept free for emergency situations.

Amsterdam Amstelland Police Force
Regio Politie Amsterdam Amstelland has been a business relation of Flash for many years now. Many extra policemen are deployed on specific days such as the Dutch Queen's Birthday, the Amsterdam Marathon, the Eurotop and other national and international events. This invariably means that more communication equipment is required.
Flash supplies the additionally required equipment that is programmed in partnership with the Etherbeheer Agency of the Amsterdam Amstelland Police Force. We are capable of deploying large numbers of radios in a very short period when sudden disasters strike. The largest project we have worked on in partnership with the Amsterdam Amstelland Police Force was the wedding of Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Máxima. We made more than 2000 radios available for this event!
Flash has already improved indoor coverage in a large number of district police headquarters of the Amsterdam Amstelland Police Force.
